Please do not contact the surgery to ask when you will receive your Covid Vaccine.  We can only run clinics based on the vaccines that are made available to us. We will contact you.

Prescriptions: We no longer take prescriptions over the phone. We request that you fill in the repeat slip on your form and post it through our letterbox or email your request. Alternatively you can use Patient Services to order your medication.

IF YOU REQUIRE A PRESCRIPTION PLEASE POST THE REQUEST THROUGH OUR LETTER BOX OR USE OUR ONLINE SERVICE.  WE CAN ARRANGE FOR THIS TO GO TO A CHEMIST OF YOUR CHOICE, PLEASE ALLOW MORE THAN 48HRS DUE TO THE HIGHT DEMAND AT THIS TIME.

Should I see the Doctor or Nurse Practitioner?  Nurse Practitioners are highly trained specialist nurses who have completed further education and training so that they can provide advanced nursing care and prescribe medication.  They can provide treatment and advice for many of the problems that traditionally you saw your Dr about in the past.  If you are unsure if they can deal with your problem please ask at Reception.

These clinics are provided by our practice nurses who are trained in chronic disease management. Your doctor will refer you to these clinics.

If your child is over 2 months old and you have not received an appointment to attend this clinic please contact the surgery.

Mothers & Baby's

There will be someone to look after your baby if necessary while you see the Doctor.  Please ask at Reception.  Babies and toddlers should never be left unattended at any time in the Surgery.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Clinic

These clinics are provided by our practice nurses who are highly trained in chronic respiratory disease management. Your doctor will refer you to these clinics when appropriate.

Routine checks are made by our practice nurses trained in the management of this condition.

pregant_belly Midwife Clinic

  • Friday - 9am - 12.15pm - appointment only -
  • Booking Clinic Thursday 9am -11am

This clinic is undertaken by a Midwife from Ninewells Hospital.

 

Women's Health Clinic / Cervical Smears

Sessions are held at various times through the week. It is recommended that most female patients between the ages of 20 and 60 have a regular cervical smear. If you are not sure when you should have a test please check with our reception staff. Information and advice is also available on other issues e.g. HRT and breast check education.

Health Promotion Clinic

This clinic is provided by our Practice Nurse and further patient information is available from the Main Reception Desk.
